I Am a Badass Mother Runner

Finishing smack dab in the middle of the pack at the Zooma Atlanta 5K feels like quite an accomplishment since I only began running races in September. It has been a joyful and liberating experience, and I am so grateful for it.

This race was my fifth 5K and it’s time to step it up. I see a half-marathon in my future, specially after meeting my running role models this weekend. Through their Another Mother Runner blog and podcast, Dimity McDowell and Sarah Bowen Shea continuously give me the support I need to sustain my running  journey.

These are my stats and I am proud of them. For now.
